The first EV class taught by Professor Carl Vogel this winter of 2010 at Farmingdale State College, our LIEAA president has been a big success. The class is a 3 credit 400 level course open to everyone.
This year I am happy to anounce that the LIEAA is now a stake holder and part of the “Greater Long Island Clean Cities Coalition”.

GLICCC is part of a 15-year-old, U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Clean Cities sponsored program that boasts close to 90 chapters nationwide. GLICCC’s mission and passion is to increase the public’s awareness and use of Alternative Fuels and Alternative Fuel Vehicles (AFVs) while decreasing our regional and national dependency on foreign oil.
